Why is May so Busy?
Is it possible to suffer from senioritis if your child is graduating this month? That’s what I’m blaming my lack of focus on, even if it’s not scientifically possible! It sounds plausible, right?
May can be a busy month – Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, sports banquets, and graduations. In fact, I even saw a Facebook post earlier this week, complete with revamped Christmas songs, dedicated to Maycember – because it’s busy like December but without the presents! It’s also the start of house buying season and family vacation time. No wonder our heads are spinning!
Clearly, there’s a lot going on for everyone. Thus, it’s even more important than ever to stick to a schedule and stay organized. With so many distractions, it’s easy to get off track. Since data preservation is our passion, we’re here to help you achieve your goals, whether it’s an action-packed May or a slower and cooler November. Since county and district clerks are untrusted with an incredible amount of important historical data, it’s imperative that it’s accessible, orderly, and protected. And that’s what we excel at!
Whether we’re rebinding and preserving books, digitizing historical records, or installing land or vital records software, data integrity is our business. If we do our jobs correctly, we should be an extension of your office, not simply another vendor. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed and simply want a professional opinion about how to approach your records inventory, give us a call or send us an email. We’d be happy to provide a consultation.
Of course, don’t forget to visit with us at the Summer Conference in The Woodlands next month. We’re putting the final touches on our CDCAT Scholarship Banquet and we know you’re going to love it!
